Founded in 1994, Applied Research Services, Inc. (ARS) is an Atlanta, Georgia-based private consulting firm specializing in research design and analysis. ARS employs state-of-the-art analytical, survey, data, and business intelligence tools to deliver decision support. We have decades of experience converting data into empirically-based decision-making tools such as risk and needs assessment tools and simulation models. We also provide consultation, training and technical assistance nationally to courts, law enforcement, corrections, and other criminal justice agencies.

ARS excels in the design and implementation of process and outcome evaluations to help clients more effectively direct improvement efforts. We manage and support dozens of federally-funded evaluation research projects in a variety of criminal justice and other settings.
